The registration fee includes:
- Participation at all symposium sessions
- Symposium papers in digital form
- Lunch meals, coffee breaks and evening reception
Students or Young Professionals (26 years old or less) will be given the opportunity to attend all technical sessions and to obtain the CD-ROM with the Symposium Proceedings (limited to availability). Previous registration in the symposium webpage is necessary. This offer is NOT valid for students who will make paper presentations (oral or poster), nor for the inclusion of the respective paper in the CD-ROM. Furthermore it shall not include meals and congress dinner. Otherwise, a Student registration fee must apply.
Student /Young Professional registration
Student fee applies to enrolled full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students in a higher-education, government-approved university system who is not a full-time employee, at the time of registration. To use the student fee benefit, a copy of a document confirming full time student status at a Portuguese or foreign university must be emailed to ishs2012@aprh.pt. Please note that only valid student picture ID cards issued by an accredited university are accepted. Additional documents (such as dean's letter, course registration, etc.) may also be requested. General fee will be charged if such certificates are not provided upon registration.
A Young professional is an engineering graduate who is 26 years old or less.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation of the registration must be made in writing (letter or fax) to the Local Organizing Committee.
The registration fees will be refunded as follows:
- • 75 % if the cancellation is received before January 13, 2012
- • 50 % if the cancellation is received between January 13 and January 23, 2012
- • No refund will be given if the Cancellation is received after January 23, 2012.
