Murillo para apresentar e dinamizar uma sess\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica sobre a simula\u00e7\u00e3o matem\u00e1tica de cheias em ambientes urbanos. Em particular, ser\u00e1 abordado o problema da previs\u00e3o de \u00e1reas inundadas quando a geometria da zona inund\u00e1vel \u00e9 complexa. O Dr. Javier Murillo vem desenvolvendo modelos matem\u00e1ticos de simula\u00e7\u00e3o da propaga\u00e7\u00e3o de cheias desde 2001, tendo-se especializado em solu\u00e7\u00f5es conservativas para as equa\u00e7\u00f5es de Saint-Venant, tema sobre o qual tem publicado diversos trabalhos t\u00e9cnicos e cient\u00edficos. Integra, na Universidade de Sarago\u00e7a, o grupo de trabalho da Prof.\u00aa Pilar Garcia Navarro, especializado na modela\u00e7\u00e3o matem\u00e1tica de escoamentos fluviais, incluindo cheias em meios urbanos e cheias com frente abrupta.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9272\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Abstract\/Resumo<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9272\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9272\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p>When applying the 2D shallow water model to the simulation of overland flow in urban flooding problems it is necessary to handle correctly with all kind of situations related to the complex geometry that can appear. Due to the complex topographic features involving urban modelling, strong discontinuities in the bed elevation appear and, as a result, the solution can be compromised. Godunov methods have been found reliable tools to simulate realistic scenarios but the approximate solutions involved in the generation of the numerical method have to be revisited. This revision results in new approximate solutions and a complete definition of a stability region that avoids instabilities without using any additional and undesirable tuning parameters commonly found in literature.
